Vitreous enamel on steel

Fever 103 is a group of 18 paintings in baked enamel on steel that translate the sign-like qualities of my abstract drawings into this "new" medium. The paintings are titled after a Sylvia Plath poem from 1962, each of the 18 stanzas of the poem serves as the title for one of the plates. Originally comissioned by Artpace, San Antonio, TX.
